There was a wind storm last Wednesday (11/30) night that knocked out power completely in many cities here (which was why I haven’t been on) and I have some photos. @_@

It was kinda scary that night. Aside from the wind ripping trees from the ground, the power lines was also snapping. At first I thought it was a thunder storm, but there was no booming sounds and the flashing blue lights was flashing way too fast. Then I realized it was the power lines snapping and exploding/creating sparks and fires.

The police patrolled the cities and gave us a curfew. Schools are closed and a lot of the super markets and shops are closed, too. We have one super market here that is running on a generator so we can buy some food from there. There’s always sirens of ambulances and fire trucks 24/7. A lot of roads are blocked because some places are incredibly unsafe.

We used candles for the first night (AND MY HAIR CAUGHT ON FIRE BY ACCIDENT LOL FML.) Second night, we found some people selling flash lights on a corner so we bought some. No more freaking candles. Nothing else big really going on, it just gets cold at night because the heater doesn’t work and most of our food in the fridge is going bad.

But other than that, my family and I are safe. Other people aren’t so lucky though. I’m currently at a relatives’ and they have a generator. We probably won’t get our power back up until Sunday or Monday, so I’ll see some of you guys til then. ;o;
